Equal Access.

Teachers need to provide equal access to the digital world to all learners...

I believe that the teacher needs to provide equal access to the digital world for all learners to the best of their ability. The teacher only has so many resources available to them, but it is up to them to use what they do have for the benefit of every student.
It is ultimately up to the teacher to best determine how to incorporate the technology into the lesson, but there are some classes that just can’t be taught without the use of certain technologies. Even if those technologies are not available to use directly in the classroom, it is up to the teacher to book time in a computer lab or book time for a computer cart so the students do have access to these things.
Even if the teacher is in a district, which is not as well off with technology as some of the other districts, there are still ways to make use of the technology that the school is able to afford. The teacher just has to be willing to go out of their way to book times or make plans in advance so that their students are able to get the some kind of access, even if its only limited, so that they are having these positive learning experiences as well.
